Rules

By playing Word Bomb, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the following rules. Failure to do so may result in moderation action.

Behaviour

1.1 Respect

  • No slurs, hate speech, or discriminatory language
  • No harassment, bullying, threats, or personal attacks
  • No sexual harassment or inappropriate comments
  • No doxxing or sharing of private or personal information
  • No usernames or profile picture that are offensive, hateful, or provocative

1.2 Communication

  • Be respectful in public chat, private messages and all interactions with other players
  • No excessive spamming
  • No toxic behavior intended to provoke, humiliate or intimidate other players

1.3 Sportsmanship

  • Accept wins and losses respectfully
  • Do not mock or shame other players based on their level, no one was good when they started
  • If you disagree with someone or think they are cheating, feel free to create a ticket on Discord

1.4 Account Usage

  • One player, one game at a time. Joining or launching Word Bomb on multiple accounts simultaneously is not allowed
  • Using alternate accounts to gain an unfair advantage or bypass restrictions is prohibited

Fair Play

2.1 Word Knowledge & Accusations

  • Do not accuse other players of cheating simply because they play long words / words you don't know or because they have a high wpm

2.2 Ranked

  • No forfeiting immediately at the start because you assume your opponent is stronger
  • No intentional losing to manipulate ranking
  • Alt accounts aren't allowed in ranked. Only one account per player may play ranked in a season

No Cheating

3.1 Account Integrity

  • No account sharing
  • No account selling, buying or transferring
  • You are responsible for all activities on your account or any accounts you are logged in

3.2 External Assistance

  • No bots, scripts, automation tools or macros
  • No posting word lists in chat and no using external lists or documents to help yourself or others complete word categories or gain an advantage in any game mode or scenario while playing
  • No word solver tools or external assistance from third parties

3.3 Exploits & Abuse

  • No exploiting bugs
  • If you discover a vulnerability report it instead of abusing it
  • Abuse of technical loopholes to gain unfair advantage is considered cheating

Moderation & Decisions

4.1 Moderation

  • When a moderator issues a warning, suspension or ban, it is based on observed behavior, reports or logs
  • Not all evidence can be made public. Some information may remain confidential for privacy, security or investigation reasons
  • Moderators try to act fairly, consistently and without favoritism

4.2 Human Factor

  • Moderators are human and can make mistakes. If you believe a decision was incorrect or unfair, you can create an appeal ticket
  • Appeals must remain respectful
  • Harassment, public attacks, or pressure campaigns against Word Bomb Team or Moderators will not be tolerated

Enforcement

  • Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans
  • Repeated minor offenses may escalate in severity
  • Any type of ban will restrict access to features such as daily rewards, gifting and other services for the duration of the ban
