Skins are cosmetic. One per slot, saved to your account, and everyone at the table sees all of them except your background.

## Categories

| Category | Tab | Where you see it |

| Bombs | Bombs | On the table, for whoever is on turn |
| Hearts | Heart | On your avatar, as your lives |
| Streaks | Streak | Behind your avatar at combo 6 and up |
| Ghosts | Ghost | Rises out of you when you are eliminated |
| Prompt skins | Prompt | The prompt box, for whoever is on turn |
| Explosions | Explosion | Over your avatar when the bomb goes off |
| Backgrounds | Backgrounds | Behind the game in a match, and on your profile card |

## Bombs

Every bomb has its own spark and its own fuse arrow color. They live in the bomb shop, where community bombs rotate in and the artist gets theirs free. Season bombs often come with a matching prompt skin and heart.

## Hearts

A copy pops out of you when you win a heart back.

## Streaks

Below a combo of six you get a filling ring instead.

## Ghosts

Carries the word you set, and it is the only slot you can leave empty.

## Prompt skins

Some of them animate, and a few perch a decoration on top of the prompt. Your own typing boxes always use your skin rather than the current player's.

## Explosions

Each one plays its own animation, and a few come with a sound.

## Backgrounds

Other players only see it on your profile card, never in a match. These are not for sale, every one is free for everyone. You can upload your own at level 50 or as a supporter.

## Crates

Breaking a crate gives you a skin from its category that you do not already own. Once you own them all it pays 400,000 coins instead.

## Rarity

Rarity only matters inside crates. Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, each one rarer than the last. Anything you already own is taken out first, so your odds shift as your collection fills.

## Equipping

You equip skins in your collection or in the shop. Picking a background clears any custom upload you have.
